I am thinking of Lot's wife

Alright you guys. Here we are and for now, this is what our circle of trust looks like. Any feedback? Are you ok with the template? I put a basic, plain one because I don't know if you have any preferences. If you have any suggestions, let me know. And welcome!

Feel free to use the "omniscribbler" account, (password will be e-mailed to you) just please don't forget to sign your name like I do in this post. Otherwise, if you can figure out how to enter here with your own username, by all means, please use that.

Another thing. I have not set this blog as public because I don't want unwanted traffic to disturb us here. Once the blog is public on the internet anybody can happen into it and although that could be fun, (I just misstyped "funk") I think it will distract us and besides, some of you may not even be comfortable with the idea of having strangers read your freewrites here. Any thoughts on this? Unless I hear otherwise, for now, we're underground. ;)

Well then, I'm excited. So let's get writing.

I thought I'd start by telling you about my recent fear of snakes. The reason for that has prompted from finding way too many snakes around campus lately. Mostly dead but a few of the live ones luckily ran away from me. Just this week: almost stepped on snake skin, not big at all but it had those diamond designs on it that gave me a little chill; earlier last week, a thin transluscent green one, about five feet long, rushed in front of me from one side of the street to the other; today a black one mistaken for tar, I kept walking, and then realized it probably wasn't tar, so I turned my head and found the long one, recently dead, staring right back. Last night walking home through the unlit stairs of the church something whistled. Another step down and something whistled again. But it was dark. I didn't see anything. I'll never know what it was. And then all night I dreamt of snakes, all of them by the name of Sophia, all originating by the same mother of the same name, Sophia. I don't even know anyone by that name.

You know what? I'm having a hard time to think my way around this Creative Writing class. Perhaps this Sophia I dreamt about is this class itself. It is undefinable, undescribable, sneaks up on me, huge and staring me from behind. What scares is that I know it's there and I know it could kill, (I think it is pretty deadly for all, teacher and students included, when a class does not make everyone at ease and excited about its subject) but I also know it could just really turn out to be fantastic in its own obscurity, so I'm turning my head as usual, for better or for worse.

What about you? What's scaring you lately? Do you dare turn around and stare it in the face? Do you think by doing that you'll hypnotise it and it'll change shape, turn into something really docile like say, a sheep? Or will it turn into a pillar of salt?! Imagine Lot's wife's story with a twist.... I'll stop here so you may begin. Answer any of my ramble or anything else you can think of.
